Wëssens Atelier

A social media platform for entrepreneurs to network and collaborate

00

problem

Wëssens-Atelier was a pedagogical project in Luxembourg aimed at introducing children to technology and science.

solution

The website is still online today. You can see it here: https://www.wessens-atelier.lu

This was the first professional project I ever worked on, and it happened shortly before I received my Diplom de Technicien en Informatique.

One of my former teachers selected three students from our class and, at the request of the former school director, asked if we would be willing to create a website for the Wëssens-Atelier project within a fixed budget.

The project itself was a great initiative, although I believe it is no longer active today. It involved a group of people who wanted to make science and technology more accessible to young students.

I still remember clearly how I initially felt overwhelmed by the responsibility, but my curiosity at the time wouldn’t let me step back.

.say hello

One project in particular stayed with me.

I was asked to create a farewell video for my supervisor.

When it was shown to a room of about 80 people,

many of them pulled out their phones to record the screen.

That moment made something clear to me,

I should share the things I create.

This website is a result of that realization.
